The short version
The numbers you type into our calculators never leave your browser. We do not collect, transmit or store your salary, weight, loan amount or any other input. Everything else we do with data is described below, in plain language.
What we do not collect
- Calculator inputs and results — these are computed locally in your browser via JavaScript and are never sent to our servers.
- Accounts — there is no sign-up, so there are no usernames, passwords or profiles.
What we do collect
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We use it only for that conversation and never sell or share it.
- Basic server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and debugging. These logs are not used to identify you.
Cookies and advertising
CountCrunch shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites:
- Google uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve interest-based ads. This lets Google and its partners show you ads based on your browsing across sites that use Google advertising.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info or, in the EU/UK, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Blocking or deleting cookies may change how ads appear, but the calculators keep working — they do not depend on cookies.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (in practice, this means contact-form messages). Email privacy@countcrunch.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
CountCrunch is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The calculators need no personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
